David Hitchcock, a director at property services company CB Richard Ellis, has been promoted to head of building consultancy across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
His role will be to oversee the division. He is supported by Emmanuel Sauvage in France as head of EMEA project management, Bert Rietmeijer in Holland as head of EMEA fit-out and Steve Timbs as head of EMEA due diligence in the UK.
The division has recently acquired Spanish architect FM Arquitectos to gain a greater presence in Europe.
The Madrid architectural and building consultancy group employs 36 staff and works for clients such as Microsoft.
