Support services group bags three-year claims management job with insurer
Carillion has won a £360m contract to provide claims management for Norwich Union.
The three-year contract, worth £120m a year, involves creating six regional customer centres and the use of web-portal technology for Norwich Union’s property-related claims insurance.
The contract starts later this year. The regional facilities are expected to be operational by mid 2007.
As part of this agreement Carillion will continue to utilise Norwich Union's supply chain.
Commenting on the contract, Carillion chief executive, John McDonough, said “Our selection by Norwich Union reflects not only Carillion's ability to deliver a claims service that meets the aspirations of Norwich Union, but also our focus on customer engagement and service, reflecting an excellent cultural fit between the two companies.”
