EDF Energy Networks hands Carillion five year extension to east of England infrastructure contract
Carillion has been awarded a £200m five-year extension to its support services contract for EDF Energy Networks in the east of England.
Under the contract Carillion delivers infrastructure services for sub-stations and cabling for the electricity network. The extension begins in January 2011.
Carillion chief executive John McDonough said: “This reflects the strong relationship we have built with EDF Energy Networks through our ability to work closely with our customers to understand their business needs and to develop services specifically tailored to meet those needs.”
