Contract extension covers facilities and project management services to Telewest properties

Contractor Carillion has won a £100m extension to its current facilities management contract with ntl Telewest.

Carillion, which provides facilities and project management services to Telewest properties throughout the UK, has extended its current deal to 2011. The contract will also broaden to cover ntl Telewest’s office portfolio.

Carillion chief executive John McDonough said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract extension from ntl Telewest, which is another major step in Carillion's strategy of developing strong, long-term collaborative relationships with key strategic customers.

"This reinforces our strong relationship with Telewest, and consolidates our position as the UK's leading provider of FM solutions to the telecommunications industry.”
