Carillion has been linked with three UK managers who are about to leave facilities management firm Johnson Controls.
Reports last week said the three men are managing director Don Kenny, finance director Bobby Ross and human resources director Ron Hillier. They have all resigned from Johnson Controls after a restructure. Carillion chief executive John McDonough joined the contractor from Johnson Controls last year.

Johnson Controls merged its facilities management division with its building systems and service operations earlier this year and created four European regions.

As part of the Johnson Contols restructure, former business development director Guy Holden became head of the western region, which includes the UK and Ireland. He will report to European head George Doig.

Holden, a former head of property marketing at BAA Lynton, is one of four European regional chiefs. Doig said the pan-European team would ensure the Johnson Controls delivered consistently across the continent.

The firm increased turnover to £3.7bn for the three months to 30 June, up from £3.2bn for the same period last year. Pre-tax profit rose 15% to £122m over the three-month period and sales in Europe went up 15%.

n Johnson Controls last week signed a two-year extension to a facilities management contract with energy giant BP. The deal, worth £30m a year, includes an optional three-year extension.
