Carillion-Telent deal with BT Openreach is set to be signed in the next two months
A Carillion joint venture is set to secure a £1bn support services contract with BT Openreach.
The Carillion-telent JV has signed a letter of intent with BT Openreach and the contract is expected to be sealed within the next two months.
Services provided will include support and network installation services, and asset management and maintenance.
Carillion chief executive John McDonough said: 'This further reinforces Carillion's position as a leading supplier of support services for infrastructure and buildings."
"Carillion already has a strong relationship with BT, for whom we have provided integrated facilities management services for BT's UK estate since 2001."
