Two firms sign partnership deal to deliver pressurised water reactors for UK new-build programme
Carillion has signed a partnership deal with French contractor Eiffage that will see the two firms take on the UK nuclear new-build market.
The firms said they hoped to work together on delivery of pressurised water reactors to replace the existing fleet of British plants.
Carillion Infrastructure managing director Adam Green said: “Our complimentary skills, capability and experience makes Carillion Eiffage ideally placed to support clients with their new build programmes. We share a common approach that builds long-term relationships with our customers”.
Eiffage TP president Jean Guenard said: “We are at the beginning of what we hope is a long and exciting journey for both organisations.”
