Profit at Capita Symonds edged up 3% in the year to 31 December 2008, with most of the top-line growth in the UK market
The consultant posted pre-tax profit of £17.2m, up from £16.7m in 2007. Turnover rose 17% to £204.8m from £175.1m the previous year.
The growth came largely in the UK, where turnover rose from £164.6m to £194.3m, whereas overseas revenue stayed flat at £10.5m.
The highest-paid director took home £390,219 in salary and pension contributions, up 22% from £320,470 the previous year.
Last month, Capita Symonds said it wanted to increase its international presence and opened its first Middle Eastern office in Abu Dhabi.
