Capita buys Pearce Buckle, completing a hat-trick of acquisitions since March
Capita Symonds has bought M&E consultant Pearce Buckle, its third acquisition this year.
Pearce Buckle’s reputation as a consultant to the custodial sector signifies that Capita is looking to build on its work in the sector. Capita Symonds is on a number of frameworks within the prisons sector.
The acquisition of Pearce Buckle for an undisclosed sum brings the tally of purchases made by Capita Symonds this year to three. The multidisciplinary consultant bought Lovejoy, a landscape architect, in March and structural engineer NRM Bobrowski in April.
Jonathan Goring, managing director of Capita Symonds, said: “This is our third acquisition of the year, focused on targeting strategic growth markets with world class niche consultancy skills. Pearce Buckle brings a great deal of engineering expertise and experience to Capita Symonds, particularly in the custodial and healthcare sectors, and will undoubtedly strengthen our current work in these markets.”
The firm will now be known as Capita Pearce Buckle.
