Acquisition of transport technology consultant makes Capita largest ITS consultant
Capita Symonds has acquired transport technology consultant MMB Associates for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Corsham and Reigate and with 60 staff, MMB is a specialist in the development, implementation, operation and management of Intelligent Transport Systems on the UK motorway and trunk road network.
The consultant claims the move will make it one of the largest ITS consultants in the UK with over 160 staff.
John Southgate, executive director of infrastructure at Capita, said: “MMB’s proven expertise and track record has influenced many of today’s ITS solutions and this acquisition further strengthens our position as a leading transport technology consultancy.”
