Consultant will provide multidisciplinary services on 22,000-seat venue
Plans have been unveiled for a new €30m stadium in Budapest, Hungary, to be managed by Capita Symonds.
The 22,000-seater stadium replaces the Ferencváros football club's former home which is on the same site.
The stadium is part of a wider €200m - €300m commercial development which includes 70,000m2 office space, a 200-250 bed hotel, leisure facilities and 46,000m2 of retail/commercial space.
Capita Symonds is working on the scheme on behalf of development, investment and leisure company Scarborough Group International (SGI).
Capita will provide project management, cost management and design services including structures, acoustics, health & safety, m&e and transport planning services for the stadium. Architecture services are being provided by local architect S.A.M.O.
The stadium is due to be completed in 2012.
