The firm has a long established relationship with the centre.

Its architecture division Capita Architecture designed both the centre and phase 2 of the BBC Hoddinott Hall, home of BBC National Orchestra of Wales, which opened in 2008.

It has since become exclusive sponsor of the centre’s public, technical and architectural guided tours.

During the summer Capita Symonds, in partnership with Arts & Business Cymru, will sponsor its free performance Glanfa stage, to be known as the Capita Symonds Stage.

Judith Isherwood, chief executive of Wales Millennium Centre, said: "Our cultural ambition is to promote the best of Wales to the world and bring the best of the world to Wales.

"In Capita Symonds we have a sponsor which represents our vision and our ideals in terms of excellence. The company has already had a significant impact on the infrastructure of Wales."
