Outsourcing giant Capita has posted strong results for the year to 31 December 2014 and hailed the contribution of its property and infrastructure division to its improved performance.
Capita’s property and infrastructure division - which includes the former Capita Symonds consultancy business and is led by the division’s chief executive Richard Marchant (pictured) - posted “improved profitability” last year, the firm said, although it did not provide figures for the division.
Capita overall posted a 36% rise in pre-tax profit to £292.4m, up from £215m, while revenue grew 13% to £4.4bn, up from £3.9bn.
