The £60m Broad Contemporary Art Museum designed by Renzo Piano opened this week in Los Angeles.

The 8,000m2 gallery is made up of two cubes of marble topped by jagged lights. Inside, six 800m2 galleries are arranged over three floors. It was built by Matt Construction with Gensler as executive architect, Arup as structural and services engineer and Davis Langdon as cost consultant.
