Paul Dodsworth spent seven years with rival, latterly as regional MD
Caddick Construction has announced the appointment of the former boss of Wates’ northern business as its new group managing director.
Paul Dodsworth worked for the rival contractor for seven years, most recently as managing director for construction and residential across the north of England.
Dodsworth has replaced Adrian Dobson, who held the managing director position since 2019 and is retiring after almost 23 years on the board.
Dave Saville has been appointed to take Dobson’s place at Wates as regional managing director for the north.
Saville has nearly three decades of experience in the industry, having previously worked for John Sisk & Sons and Laing O’Rourke.
He joined Wates in 2019 as regional director for the North-west, overseeing projects including the Sands Centre in Cumbria and AstraZeneca’s Macclesfield Campus.
