Denton Corker Marshall’s designs for the proposed visitor centre at Stonehenge were revealed in a planning application to Wiltshire council
The glass and timber structure will be built 1.5 miles from the monument and will house exhibitions, a cafe, shop and toilets. The centre will be linked to the stones by a transit system based on the one at the Eden project. Stephen Quinlan, director of the architect, said: “We want visitors to remember the stones, not the visitor centre they passed through.”
