Firms seeks to bolster regional offering
A JLL director has been poached by Buro Four to lead its new office in Oxford after less than a year heading up project delivery at the real estate firm.
Rupert Corbett joins the consultant as director of life sciences, a role which will see him serve Buro Four clients across the Oxford-Cambridge Arc.
Prior to his nine-month stint at JLL, Corbett held partner level roles with 3PM, RLB and EC Harris as well as roles at Essentia and Turner & Townsend.
The company’s current life sciences work includes Begbroke Science Park for Oxford University, development management support for the Life and Mind Building with L&G and Inventa for Mission Street.
Buro Four hopes the Oxford office will also bolster its regional offering in other core sectors, including workplace, leisure, higher education, residential and arts and culture.

“Rupert brings with him extensive project management and delivery expertise working on high profile and complex projects, making him perfectly placed to lead Buro Four’s new Oxford office as we commit further to the sector with a laser focus on the healthy pipeline within the UK’s Golden Triangle.”
