Work in the pipeline includes £350m highways contract
Atkins has issued an optimistic trading update, highlighting a number of recent major contract wins.
The engineering consultancy said it continues to “perform strongly” and will report results slightly ahead of market expectations on 17 June 2010.
It said its pipeline of work continues to be strong, including a £350m 10-year contract with Oxfordshire council for highways maintenance, design and construction.
Atkins has also been appointed architect engineer for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor as part of a consortium project worth €150m (£132m).
