Just under 50% of registered users attend Building's second on-line careers fair
As many as 3,752 applicants registered for the latest Building Virtual Careers 2009 with just under half attending the two-day event.
This follows the success of the first Building virtual careers fair in June 2008 which attracted over 700 visitors with 95% saying they would attend future shows.
Consultant Bouygues as well as KEO and Network Rail were amongst the exhibitors at the event, which run on 18 and 19 February.
An estimated 615 visited Bouygues, 575 KEO and 518 the Network Rail booths.
The online graduate recruitment fair is designed to help graduates or anyone looking for work in construction to network on a global scale.
They are able to meet potential employers from the UK and abroad, find and apply to the latest jobs, discuss career oportunities in the many live webinars and increase industry knowledge through free online seminars.

Speakers: Charles Davis from the centre for Economic and Business research, Eliot Davies, director of Hays Energy, Bob Athroll of Willmott Dixon and Milan Radosavljevic from the University of Reading.
The new frontier – Working in emerging markets
Speakers include: Evan Anderson of Blair Anderson (North Africa), Santiago Klein of consultant McBains Cooper in Latin America and Sarah Carter of Mace in Saudi Arabia.
