The shortlists for the remaining four Building Awards categories have been announced.
They are as follows
- Young Achiever of the Year: Greg Brock, Nathan Howells, Emma Kilner, Ahmad Manzoor and Duncan McIndoe.
- Construction Industry Chief Executive of the Year: Richard Cousins, BPB; Keith Lovelock, McCarthy & Stone; Alan Murray, Hanson; Mike Welton, Balfour Beatty; John White, Persimmon.
- Construction Personality of the Year: Will Alsop, Alan Cherry, Tony Douglas, Rudi Klein, Peter Rogers and Jon Rouse.
- Manufacturer of the Year: Corus (Kalzip), Forticrete, Permasteelisa, Shüco and William Hare.
