Plumbing supplier says trading for six months to 20 September is ahead of board expectations
Plumbing equipment supplier BSS has said trading in the first half of its fiscal year was positive and it was confident about the next six months.
In the six months to 30 September, the company said: "Industrial and domestic sales are showing good growth against the equivalent period last year and trading for the half year is slightly ahead of the board's expectations.”
It also said that last year’s acquisitions, Price Tools and Warrens, are performing ahead of expectations.
BSS is due to announce it’s interim results on Monday 27 November. Last year, for the six months to 30 September 2005, it reported a 22.1% increase in pre-tax profit to £17.1m on a turnover of £413.9m.
