BSS adds industrial tools to its supplier list after buying BuckHickman from Premier Farnell for £27m
BSS Group has completed the purchase of BuckHickman InOne for £27m.
BSS announced in March that it had agreed to buy BuckHickman, which distributes industrial tools and supplies, from Premier Farnell.
The distributor of heating, plumbing and pipeline equipment said it expected BuckHickman and Price Tools, which it acquired last year, to form the basis of a third business division.
BuckHickman had an operating loss of £0.8m and sales of £99.8 for the year ended 28 Jan 2007.
Premier Farnell said it would focus on its electronic maintenance, repair and operations business.
