The Building Schools for the Future Programme, City Academies and the Primary Capital Programme have had a huge impact on education spending in the UK with an estimated £100 billion being spent from now until 2020
The largest proportion is being spent across London and the South East, so BSEC 2010 is moving to the capital to match this geographical spend. This exciting move offers obvious benefits:
- Increased capacities to cater for the ever increasing demand from both delegates and exhibitors
- London (& South East) has the highest concentration of population, schools, local & central government, consultants, architects, contractors, engineers and supply chain, thus delivering the event significantly more delegates and visitors (London & South East is the highest delegate and visitor demographic for BSEC in Manchester!)
- London (& South East) will see more BSF and PCP investment and projects than the rest of the country combined over the next two years
