Architect exhibits major mixed-use scheme at Mipim
Architect Broadway Malyan has unveiled designs for a cluster of skyscrapers in Turkey at the Mipim property fair.
The major mixed-use scheme features two 46-storey towers, a five-star hotel and a five-storey shopping centre and will be located in the town of Seyrantepe on the outskirts of Istanbul. Work is already underway on site.
Broadway Malyan was appointed on the 525,000m2 scheme after an international design competition in 2011.
Nurettin Eroğlu, chairman of client Eroğlu Property, said: “We have invested $650m in this world-class project, are pleased to debut the scheme on the international stage for the first time and believe it will become a major new landmark in Istanbul.”
Broadway Malyan director Peter Vaughan said: “The launch of the scheme is a major milestone in the delivery of this landmark project, which is drawing on the skills, expertise and experience of our world-class, integrated team of design experts, who are working in close partnership with the client to create a new, mixed-use and sustainable environment.”
