UK architect's Singapore and Weybridge offices collaborate with local firm to produce iconic design
Broadway Malyan has released images of a £73m hospital building it has designed in Singapore.
The National Heart Centre is a 35,299m2 building that will sit in the Outram campus of Singapore General Hospital.
It has been designed by the architect's Singapore and Weybridge offices in collaboration with local architect Ong & Ong.
Jason Pomeroy, director of Broadway Malyan's Singapore office, said: “Combining the skills and sector experience of our colleagues in Weybridge and Singapore has enabled us to produce ground-breaking proposals for this project.
“The building's design has been born out of a multidisciplinary process focusing on the social, economic, environmental and technological requirements of the National Heart Centre, Singapore.”
Construction is set to begin this September, with completion due in 2012.
