Bovis Lend Lease has set up a design engineering division based in Prague to expand its business in central and eastern Europe. It has recruited a three-strong management team and is now looking for eight designers.
Mark Fletcher, incoming chief executive of Bovis’ Continental Europe, Middle East and Africa region, said the division’s business was mainly project management, but that engineering design was a common entry point for many projects.
Fletcher said the firm’s European business has been supported by the Middle Eastern design engineering arm but the Prague business would be able to focus on clients in Europe. He would not disclose financial targets for the business.
