£204m deal from British Land puts Bovis in third place in annual league, as Balfour hangs on to two top spots
A £204m contract win for Bovis Lend Lease in August boosted the company one place to third in the annual league.
The management contract, awarded by quoted developer British Land took Bovis’ rolling annual total of contracts won to £1.89bn, and placed the company second in the monthly league.
Overall, Bovis snapped up four contracts in August, worth a total of £340m. It was close behind Balfour Beatty, which took the top slot for the third consecutive month, winning 90 contracts worth a combined total of £375m.
Balfour also retained its pole position in the annual league, having won contracts worth £3.86bn over the past 12 months. The biggest of these was a £42m office scheme in London on behalf of Castlemore Securities.
It was a good month for Interior Services Group, which moved up 12 places to 19th in the annual league after winning seven contracts worth £34m in August.
