Work to begin on 19-storey scheme this month
Bouygues has landed a £35m residential tower in Salford’s MediaCity.
The 19-storey Lightbox scheme comprises 238 flats at Salford Quays. Work on the AHR-designed tower will begin this month, with completion expected in the first quarter of 2019.
The building will boast views across MediaCityUK - which includes offices for ITV and the BBC and the set of Coronation Street - the waterfront and Manchester’s skyline.
Craig Tatton, chief operating officer at Bouygues UK, said: “Greater Manchester is a core focus for us as we look to apply the technical expertise we have as part of the wider Bouygues group to major projects where we can add value.”
