Consultant offers a three year donation to the charity that helps disadvantaged youth into training and employment
Consultant Bouygues UK has offered the Construction Youth Trust a three year donation as part of its Corporate Sponsorship Programme. The charity supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to gain training and employment in the construction sector.
Lionel Christolomme, managing director at Bouygues UK, said: “Encouraging the next generation to consider a career in construction is crucial for the future of our industry and training is such an important part of this – both in terms of the practical skills required and the soft skills which help young people to adapt to the world of work.”
Bouygues is also working in partnership with the CYT and the National Construction College to run employment-geared training courses for residents of London’s Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. This is the second time the firm has run this scheme.
