Consultants sought for design and urbanism procurement panel
The Mayor of London and Transport for London are seeking consultants for a new design panel.
The Architecture, Design and Urbanism panel will be tasked with promoting quality architecture, public realm, urban regeneration and sustainable development in the capital.
Up to £30m of work is expected to be procured through the new panel, which will replace the existing LDA Architecture, Landscape and Urban Design Panel and the TfL Urban Realm Design Framework.
The panel will be run jointly by the Greater London Authority and TfL and will also be open to use by the London boroughs, housing associations and other public sector organisations involved with the built environment in the capital. TfL will act as the procurement agent for the new panel.
Interested consultants and individuals need to complete and return a pre-qualification questionnaire by 7 June.
Invitations to tender will be issued in the summer with contracts awarded to successful bidders by October 2012.
More information is available TfL’s procurement site here.
