What a bore it is putting up scaffolding boards – and why bother one can manage fine without them, as this picture shows?

Lesley Moncrieff spotted this little cost-cutting exercise in scaffolding while on holiday in China recently, where apparently – at least on this job – hard hats and harnesses are also considered a little over the top too. Let's hope it doesn't catch on over here.
