Galliford Try and Skanska are last bidders standing
The shortlist for the proposed Birmingham Dental Hospital and School of Dentistry has been whittled down from 11 to two.
Galliford Try and Skanska are the only contractors left standing for the project, led by Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust, along with the University of Birmingham.
Outline planning permission was granted in November for the new facility to be built on the site of the former BBC Pebble Mill studios in the Edgbaston district.
In the coming weeks Galliford Try and Skanska will embark with Birmingham and Solihull LIFT’s design and development teams to enter final submissions in the summer.
