The judges were greatly impressed by this competition-winning, city-centre development of 73 apartments, cafe–bar and office accommodation. The good choice of brick and fine detailing are evident on a grand scale in the attractively landscaped courtyard and main road elevations. The result is a powerful urban landmark that is on a par with the best contemporary residential developments.
