Flowcrete and Total Protection were asked to produce a bespoke flooring solution for Farringdon station, one of London’s major transport infrastructure projects. Flowcrete’s M Bond
primer, Isocrete Rapide screed and Flowfast Rapid Transit SL decorative acrylic resin finish, incorporating silicon carbide for additional durability and slip resistance, were specified and installed on to 425 stainless steel floor panels of varying sizes. Flowcrete says the systems were chosen for their ability to be ready for use just two hours after installation and because they have excellent scratch, chemical, slip and wear resistance.
