Architect releases new visualisations of 55,525 m² office building
Bennetts Associates has unveiled new images of a proposed 55,525m² office building at the north end of Argent’s huge King’s Cross regeneration scheme.
The buildings at 11-21 Canal Reach - which have already won planning consent - are being marketed as a potential headquarters building.
The scheme comprises two office buildings of 12 and 10 storeys, which also incorporate retail space and a public health care centre.
Bennetts said the project was on track to be the lowest embodied carbon office building of its type in the UK, with the lowest energy usage of any building in the King’s Cross masterplan.
“As well as this, the development is planned to meet a BREAAM rating of ‘Outstanding’ – the highest possible rating and both buildings will also house two large roof terraces with mature ‘meadow’ wildflower and tree-scapes,” it added.
