Surely even in Essex there are better places to practise one's skiing technique?

Massimo Verdi sent us this image of a worker apparently employed by a national firm checking some measurements for a retail refurbishment project in Essex. He points out: “As you can see there is no means whatsoever to prevent this man failing some 3m+ onto an area where members of the public had unrestricted access.” Also note the jaunty wearing of the safety helmet back to front.
