Bellway will build 280 homes on English Partnerships site close to Ashford International railway station.
Bellway Homes has been appointed to build a mixed-use scheme including 280 homes on a 1.4ha site in Ashford, Kent.
English Partnerships has selected the housebuilder to develop the area close to Ashford International railway station, on a site it acquired in April 2004.
The scheme will form part of a wider regeneration project for Ashford town centre. An outline planning application for the site was submitted in November 2004.
David Ashworth, EP's area director for the south east, said: "Now we have a first-class development partner on board, we can progress our plans to create an attractive neighbourhood that will reinvigorate the housing market in Ashford and raise the standard of design quality for new homes."
