Bellway reservations rise 6%

Housebuilder Bellway has achieved a 6% rise in home reservations compared with this time last yeary.

At its AGM today Bellway said it will deliver a record number of completions and record turnover for the six months to 31 January.

It said it is also on course to achieve record increases in completions and turnover for the full year to 31 July.

Chairman H C Dawe said: “While the market remains stable but competitive, and against a background of interest rate rises, we await the traditionally strong spring selling season with cautious optimism.”
