Future Factories’ design for a beach hut entitled The Wizard of Oz has been shortlisted in an international competition.

Nine winning designs will be built to full scale at an exhibition entitled “Bathing Beauties – Re-imagining the Beach Hut for the 21st Century”. The exhibition, which will also include more than a hundred other models of beach huts, will be staged at the Hub: National Centre for Craft & Design in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, from 15 June, to mark the start of Architecture Week.
