Senior non-executive director Norman Cave will steer AIM-listed QS firm while Knowles continues as consultant
AIM-listed consultant Baqus has announced that Roger Knowles is to stand down as chairman.
The firm said the QS veteran, who has held the post since the company floated on the stock market in December 2007, was stepping down for personal reasons and would continue to act as a consultant to the group.
Baqus chief executive Clive Sayer said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Roger for his leadership and guidance during the flotation process and Baqus' early years on AIM. It was his vision that laid the foundations for Baqus to become one of the first publicly quoted quantity surveying companies in the UK.
“Going forward, the board will operate under the firm guidance of Norman Cave, the senior non-executive director.”
Knowles was the founder of claims consultant JR Knowles, which was sold to Hill International in 2006 for £7m.
