Contractor to build Rydens Enterprise School and Sixth Form College in Hersham, Surrey
Bam Construction has won the job to build a £27m school in Surrey.
The firm has been named as preferred bidder to build the Rydens Enterprise School and Sixth Form College in Hersham.
The new 16,000m2 building will be built on the school’s existing playing fields and the school then plans to demolish its current building to make way for residential development.
The school will accommodate 1,688 students aged between 11 and 18 and include a sixth-form centre, sports hall and other facilities.
Bam construction director Anthony Nagle said he was “looking forward” to building “a top class facility for pupils, parents and teachers”.
