Director at professional services firm to head up new company that will form after merger with UK and Europe division of American firm

A director at Balfour Beatty Management has been appointed as managing director of the UK and European operations of Parsons Brinckerhoff, which is to merge with the professional services business.

Nick Flew, who joined Balfour Beatty Management from Atkins in 2004, will lead the integration of the two companies. The new company will operate as Parsons Brinckerhoff.
