Lincolnshire scheme will run for six years
Balfour Beatty has won a six year, £217m contract highways maintenance contract from Lincolnshire county council.
It will involve looking after 9,000km of highways, carriageways and footpaths and comes with an option to extend for a further six years.
The firm said it is investing in more than 50 commercial vehicles to carry out the work.
Work will start next spring.
