Contractor’s ground engineering firm consolidates various Irish businesses into one
Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering has announced plans to consolidate its various businesses in Ireland to create one new company.
The company is to bring together its divisional businesses to align the range of specialist services it offers in the country.
The companies - Pennine, Stent, Branlow, Balfour Beatty GeoEnvironmental and Testal – work in various areas of ground engineering including piling, foundations remediation and environmental testing.
James McNeill, business development manager for Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering, will be the main contact for new business in the country.
He said: “By offering a one stop shop for customers, BBGE can provide clients with a single solution to their ground engineering requirements, which saves them from going to three or four contractors to achieve the same result. I am confident that BBGE’s leading design solutions will give us the edge to secure more projects in Ireland.”
