Engineer’s order book stable at £13bn
Engineer Babcock International has secured contracts for 90% of this financial year’s anticipated revenue in the last six months.
In a statement to the City it also said that 50% of the revenue for the 2013-14 financial year had also been contracted.
In its statement the firm said: “The board therefore remains confident of meeting its expectations for this financial year and delivering strong progress on last year.”
The firm said both its order book and bid pipeline stood at £13bn with a number of large opportunities set to be awarded in the next 18 months.
The group’s half year results will be released on 6 November.
