Atkins takes over street lighting consultants' customer contracts

Atkins has acquired key assets from Derek Rogers and Associates. The specialist street lighting consultancy will allow Atkins to grow within the public lighting sector.

All of Derek Rogers and Associate’s staff and the novation of all customer contracts will be transferred to Atkins.

Derek Rogers & Associates provide services to clients on all aspects of public lighting, from the development of investment strategies and surveys to design services and performance monitoring and measurement.

Atkins’ business development director, John McSheen, commented: “We already work in close partnership with Derek Rogers & Associates on a number of projects and our agreement is a natural extension to this. Derek and his staff have an excellent reputation and we’re looking forward to welcoming them into Atkins.”
