Not clear at this point whether the heavenward journey will take an upward or downward trajectory…
Peter Stocks spotted this labourer painting a temple minaret in Libya, with no hard hat, no lanyard to link him to the scaffolding, and no scaffolding boards – but presumably plenty of faith in God to compensate.
Says Peter: “He was balancing on the scaffolding (no feet on the boards, of course) holding on with one hand, whilst whitewashing with a paintbrush on the end of a pole to reach the wall. As there was no canvas or protection below, there were a number of people in dark clothes who ended up with polka dot fabric having walked past the site!”
