Arup and the CREC will bid together on schemes
Arup and the China Railway Engineering Corporation have signed a joint agreement to bid together on key international projects.
At a ceremony in London this week, the two firms signed a memorandum of understanding to work on bids together for schemes in the Middle East, South America and South-east Asia.
Chinese premier Wen Jiabao and prime minister David Cameron presided over the ceremony.
Philip Dilley, chairman of the Arup group board, said the agreement will help Arup to penetrate emerging markets internationally.
