Former EC Harris senior partner David Sparrow among the promotions
Arcadis has made three top level appointments to its global management team, including the promotion of former EC Harris senior partner David Sparrow to an international Arcadis role.
Sparrow – who was global head of client solution for EC Harris – has been promoted to global director of multi-national clients for its Dutch parent company.
Sparrow has over 22 years of experience at EC Harris and was instrumental in merger talks between the UK-based consultant and Arcadis. Sparrow started in his new position on 1May.
Matt Bennion has also been promoted from EC Harris to global director of buildings for Arcadis.
Bennion joined EC Harris in 2002 and led the development of the firm’s management consultancy and transformational change business.
Mark Fenner has also been promoted from a director role in Arcadis’ multinational client programme to global director of environment.
All three will also become a member of the Arcadis senior management committee.
Neil McArthur, member of the executive board of Arcadis and future CEO of the firm, said: “These key leadership appointments will support the implementation of our current strategy and instil an even closer cooperation between ARCADIS and EC Harris, which has already resulted in a number of synergy wins.
“I am pleased we are able to fill these key positions from inside the firm, demonstrating strength and depth of our leadership teams.”
