Dutch engineer and UK subsidiary EC Harris win three-year framework
Dutch engineer Arcadis and its UK subsidiary EC Harris have won a three year framework to redevelop ports in Abu Dhabi.
The consulting team will provide design, engineering, masterplanning and project management services to the Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC).
EC Harris has an existing relationship with ADPC, for whom it is providing project control services on the newly built Khalifa Port.
Arcadis said in a statement that its collaboration with EC Harris had allowed it to offer a broader scope of services to ADPC.
Tim Risbridger, head of transportation in the Middle East at EC Harris, said: “This contract exemplifies the joint strength of Arcadis and EC Harris in the Middle East.
“Given the potential in the region and our growing presence, I foresee more of these opportunities in the near future.”
